Preco's SL8000 series standard products are fixed beam, PC based, three-axis laser systems tooled and ready for processing sheet plastics, wood, thin metals or composite products. The SL8000 series systems are designed to precisely and automatically ramp the laser power levels in coordination with the motion system. This provides extremely accurate square corners and detailed features. Preco's high-quality laser beam control allows you to start your cutting program right on the cut line without the "peck through" flaw typical of other systems.
Preco's SL8000 is the ideal laser system for flat sheet processing applications that require a vacuum hold down, large motion area, smooth yet fast positioning motion, high processing resolution and consistent beam quality over the full range of the motion system.
