Engineered to provide the accuracy and flexibility to bring a product from concept to production at a competitive price point. PowerCell delivers the perfect balance of cost, precision, and scalability for manufacturers in the battery and energy storage industries. 

Designed specifically for welding of energy storage systems (ESS), and specialty battery packs, PowerCell integrates TRUMPF's proven fiber laser technology with Preco's decades of machine-building expertise. Backed by Preco's U.S./E.U. application development, machine engineering, and global service network, it offers manufacturers a clear path from prototype to production.

The PowerCell Battery Welding System features a 1.5 m x 1.25 m working area, supports payloads up to 600 kg, and integrates 2 - 6 kW TRUMPF fiber lasers and OTC sensor for reliable welding performance and 100% quality traceability. With a Class 1, UL/CE, EN11553-1- compliant safety enclosure and multiple loading options, including roll-in carts, front load, or pass-through, the system accommodates a range of production environments.
